24 persons from Somalia, 7 from Syria and a woman from Erithrea arrived at 7:10 this morning at Piraeus port. They were given a six-month extension of deportation, by Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias. The bodies of those dead in the incident that occurred outside Samos island last week also arrived with the same ship.

Two Syrians have been arrested, considered to be responsible for the tragedy.
22 persons drowned when their 12 meter-long vessel was overturned outside the island of Samos in the Aegean Sea on May 5th. Seventeen persons were trapped in the vessel and drowned, among them several children.

Syriza party division of human rights delegation welcomed the survivors at the port this morning. Syriza MP Vassiliki Katrivanou headed the delegation.
