A large fire broke out shortly after 09:30, at the Ptolemaida electrical power station.
The fire is located in the basement of the fourth unit of the Ptolemaida power station.
According to kozani.gr, there are various cables on fire which caused the dense smoke that has covered the area.
Two people with respiratory problems, have been transferred to the Bodossakio Hospital in Ptolemaida.
