The four unknown individuals are alleged to be Maziotis' accomplices in a number of armed robberies. Police called on citizens who might have any information and can assist the police investigation to call the Counter Terrorism Squad phone numbers (1014 and 10414).
Police also named Maziotis' collaborator as Giorgos Petrakakos, born in 1979 in the Athens suburb of Aghia Paraskevi. Meanwhile, Maziotis refused to testify to the examining magistrate who visited him at Evangelismos hospital.
According to reports, Maziotis, who has been convicted for his participation in the terror group Revolutionary Struggle, claimed he is was a revolutionary and demanded to be transferred to Korydallos prison hospital. Maziotis' demand was accepted given that he has signed, against doctors' recommendations, a document in which he asks to be discharged from hospital.
Early in the afternoon, the convicted terrorist was escorted to the Korydallos prison hospital, as requested. The examining magistrate offered him an extension to give his deposition on Monday at 1.30pm.
